Meet Kathi Dutton. 

Founder and Chief Hive Officer of MindHive Strategic Partners.

For more than 20 years, I've partnered with leaders and organizations navigating growth, transformation, and change. My experience spans venture-backed startups, private equity-backed organizations, and global enterprises, helping build high-performing teams, developing leaders, and creating the structures required for sustainable growth.

While my career was rooted in Human Resources, my work consistently extended beyond traditional HR. I found myself at the intersection of strategy, operations, leadership, and people, helping organizations solve complex challenges that couldn't be addressed through policies, processes, or organizational charts alone.

Over time, I became the person organizations called when growth created complexity, transformation efforts lost momentum, or critical initiatives lacked clear ownership. Whether the challenge involved people, operations, governance, technology, or organizational effectiveness, the work consistently required connecting strategy to execution.

Across every company and stage of growth, I began to notice a familiar pattern.

As organizations scale, complexity increases. Priorities compete for attention. Teams become siloed. Decision-making slows. Accountability becomes unclear.

I also saw critical initiatives stall. Not because leaders lacked commitment, but because ownership was fragmented, decision rights were unclear, and the systems needed to support growth had not evolved alongside the business.

That realization became the foundation for MindHive.

I launched MindHive Strategic Partners to help leaders address the challenges that often emerge during growth before they become barriers to performance. My goal is to bring together human capital expertise and operational leadership in a way that helps organizations create clarity, strengthen accountability, and build sustainable systems that scale.

As Chief Hive Officer, I bring an ecosystem perspective to organizational challenges. Rather than looking at people, processes, or strategy in isolation, I focus on how they work together. Because when one part of the system struggles, the effects are felt across the entire organization.

My approach begins with curiosity and a belief that better questions often lead to better solutions.

Why do we do it this way?
What problem are we actually trying to solve?
Who else is impacted?
What would success look like six months from now—or two years from now?

Rather than prescribing generic solutions, I work alongside leaders to clarify priorities, strengthen accountability, improve decision-making, and create systems that support sustainable execution.
