Hello! I'm Kathi Dutton and for more than 20 years, I built and led people functions inside both PE/VC-backed startups and large enterprise companies. I coached leaders, developed teams, and built entire HR functions from the ground up. On paper, life was good — I was shaping workplaces and guiding people to succeed.

But I began to notice the same frustrating pattern repeating itself in every company I worked with. Silos formed, goals blurred, and stalled decisions slowed teams down from achieving real outcomes. No matter the industry or company size, these issues surfaced during hypergrowth, M&A, or leadership changes.
